The new year got off to an enigmatic start when Dntinuul, a magical
beast known as a kirin arrived in Camelot demanding to speak with
Ian and BaylaVin The conversation was puzzling, but before it left
the kirin told them "The Light must shine above and below."

The search for Bran's Cauldron began in earnest as Ian led an
expedition to the dwarven mines at Raum Korda. They were
guided there by Jeravathallion and the party included Glofin,
Queen Sarah, Calan, Veryl, Tomas, , Bayla ,Kalaris,
and Euk`lipts. But the quest failed when they discovered only
one elderly dwarf remained guarding the caved in mines.
The hunt next moved back to Camelot itself, and Ian finally
succeeded in opening the door to Merlin's Tower. The party
icluded Maylon, Ryn, Glofin, Queen Sarah, Tobias, Nautchiq,
Anki, Jera, and a newcomer named Meghan a Bard. When the
top floor of the Tower suddenly began sinking, the questers
found themselves in tunnels under Camelot Castle and
confronted by some angry dwarves. Eventually they met
the dwarf Hugin and recovered the Cauldron.
A young girl from the Hook named Nobly ventured into the
firehall and came to odds with Bayla over the library. Later,
she was attacked in thre Hook but Ian had asked Mixik to
check on the girl's background and so Mixik was nearby and able
to come to Nobly's aid.
Maylon gave Tyralor a bell to wear to warn of his approach but
somehow the gift has not beern very effective.
Nautchiq feel gravely ill but recovered with the help fo the wood elf
Tetoa.
In the midst of all this, cloak returned to Camelot.Meanwhile,
Tyralor convinced Bayla to leave off his spying in the Hook.
Worried about the safey of the Cauldron being kept in the armory
in the castle, Blackthorn arranged for it to be moved to the more
secure Mage Academy. A cavalcade including Jera, Lyssa,
Anki, Nobly.Lucent, Glofin, Queen Sarah, Tobias and Stoffolees
escorted the Cauldron but a magical shadow covered the seizure
of the wagon by brigands. When the cart's brakes failed Stoffolees
was able to reach the frightened team of horses but the Cauldron
was lost when the dragon Mornaur swooped down to snatch it away.
Only a few days later, the evil aborning in TheHook erupted into
fullscale combat as bands of mercenaries seized parts of the
district. With them was a demon summoning mage and only
the quicxk action of the dragon Kalaris the place from going up in
flames.
Finally, as the month drew to a close, a Scottish mercenary
named Kildrummy burst into the firehall looking for help finding
his friend Brother Cyth who'd wandered off into the Hook.
Since Blackthorn was not available, the Scotsman led a
team of volunteers that included Lucent, Palmer, Torri, and
Najitha in rescuing his friend.
And so January ended with Camelot facing new challenges but
with its citizens facing them together..
