OVER A CUP OF COFFEE

Just sitting here, thinking...

Whoever invented navel oranges has my undying admiration.There's
nothing like the taste of them, in my opinion.

And likewise, the folks who came up with the soft gel arch support
inserts.My foot is 99% better since I started using them and except
for the end of the day when I've been on them all day, my feet don't
hurt anymore.

The kid from Massachusetts who died in the shootout in Arkansas
after killing a police officer and a woman started off with a hatchet
attack and shootings on three gay bar patrons. The website he
ran is chilling to see with the Neo Nazi slogans and talk of killing.
My question is: Why did his parents not see this disturbing behavior
sooner? Why did the local police, who knew this kid from past
trouble, not push the parents to act? At any rate, it's graphic
evidence of the destructive power of hate and that not all lost
souls are harmless.

Speaking of hate..let's see..you put a bag over somebody's head,
stuff him into a sleeping bag, and then sit on him until he smothers
to death. And then a court-martial lets you off with a five year
sentence for manslaughter? Oh..the victim was an Iraqui Moslem?
That makes it alright then? Umm..no. If that had been something
some gang member did to someone over here he'd be sitting on
death row now. What kind of signal are we sending to kids who
see how easily this man got off for killing a prisoner? No wonder
the terrorists find it so easy to recruit kids over there to blow
themselves up or set roadside bombs for our troops.

Rp is doing well. Three more players have returned who left at
different points of Cam's history. And I have a few stories banging
around in my head begging to be written. One of which I will
work on when I get back from the laundromat.
