I seem to have gotten a bit lazy about this
blogging stuff, so I have some ground to make up.

My niece Sara and her SO Steve have finally set THE
date: Oct 8th, 2005. My sister is thrilled.

And Paul may be coming home from Baghdad in a few weeks
for r&r.

On the family tree front, I discovered recently that
there's unknown White siblings to my grandfather, and
my Aunt Emily(called Mimi by us West kids because I
couldn't manage "Emily" as a toddler)is coming up from
Florida in a week or so.She was married to Eddie, my
mom's brother, and maybe she might have some other info
to add to the puzzle.

Finally, I discovered that most of my Mayflower Pilgrim
ancestors came from a village in England named Scrooby.

Yes, dear reader.

I am descended from Scrooby Do's
